Coma Server is an open source Comet server. The goal of this project is develop a scalable, cross-platform server that adheres to the Bayeux protocol.

The plan is to support Unix like variants including GNU/Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X. There are no plans to natively support Windows, but Coma will run splendidly in a virtual machine. It is crucial that the server support both 32-bit and 64-bit hardware architectures.

Coma will be licensed under LGPL v2.1.
